Best Italian food in Nashville by far. We love the small, intimate atmosphere with the best old Jazz masters playing delicately in the background. Outstanding wine list, wonderful appetizers, and huge entrees. Desserts and apterifs or cappuccino are to die for!!! We have never been disappointed with the food or the service, and often take out of town guests there often. I highly recommend this dining experience to anyone who hungers for the truly Italian food.

BY FAR THE VERY BEST ITALIAN FOOD I HAVE HAD IN NASHVILLE SINCE I MOVED HERE 20 YEARS AGO. I HAVE BEEN LONGING FOR NEW YORK STYLE TRUE ITALIAN COOKING FOR WAY TOO LONG. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AS WELL AS THE ATMOSPHERE. TIM WAS OUR WAITER AND HE KNOWS HOW TO SERVE YOU. THIS WILL BE MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT NOW THAT I HAVE FOUND TANGREDI'S. THE AMOUNT OF FOOD YOU GET PER PLATE IS INCREDIBLE COMPARED TO THESE OTHER ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN NASHVILLE. PRICE IS VERY REASONABLE AND MY MOUTH IS WATERING JUST THINKING ABOUT THE FOOD WE HAD LAST NIGHT. CAN'T WAIT TO GO AGAIN. THANKS MICHAEL FOR GREAT FOOD. RONNIE & THERESA

Tangredi's doesn't advertise itself because the kitchen is so small, so I think a lot of Nasvhille is probably missing out on some the best Italian food and real Italaian dining in town. However, the people that know it exists come back time and again. The small kitchen does make things a little slow if you're on a time crunch at the lunch hours, and if it's really crowded at night they can get pretty backed up, so be sure to order a bottle or two of wine from their extensive and constantly updated list. The y have the best lasagna in town, no questions. The menu is huge, and if you haven't had the snapper special, then you don't know the deliciousness that you are missing. The fried calamari appetizer is also very, very good. The calzones are monsterous, and so far both myself and the my guests have never been dissappointed by a meal.
